Moab!!

My family had spring break this last week. They drove down to Moab and brought all the four wheelers with them! We went down for a short weekend getaway. Bree loved it!

Happy St. Patricks Day

So, Melinda is awesome. She is always preparing awesome gourmet dinners in between laundry, house cleaning, baby tending, sewing, calling and other supermom/wife activities.

Well, she knows how much I like holidays and today she quickly whipped together a St. Patricks Day dinner before she ran off to her gym class tonight.




Leprechaun lemonade, shrimp linguini (green spinach for St. Party's), Olive Garden salad (again, green...and my favorite), and green rainbow bundt cake.




The cake was extra special, though. Turns out it was a leprechaun trap. It had a ladder up the side with a bunch of Werther's Originals in the middle. If you look close you'll see the gold is perched on top of a lattice of pretzels. As soon as the leprechauns step onto the gold pile -- BOOM! -- the lattice gives way and they fall into the hole in the middle.

Awesome.

Uncle Brett came to visit!

My brother was out here for a few days and we had a blast together! He's so wonderful with the kids! Love ya Brett!!

Murder Mystery Party

Some friends in our ward had us over for THE BEST murder mystery party ever!!! We made a DI run for our "Prince Jabba" and "undercover Princess Ali" costumes. It wasn't one of those box murder games. It was much more interactive and we had a lot more freedom as players to act and make decisions. We LOVED it!





They had it decorated super cool and had awesome Arabian food!
