Giant baby!
At two months Joslyn is wearing Brees 3-6 month clothes. She is in the 93% for height. 77% for weight!!! What a contrast from my little Bree who is and was in the 8% for height and weight. (let's not forget she threw up for the first two years of her life)
Joslyn is such a joy!! She has been such a sweet baby. She has found her voice and "talks" a lot. She also is quite a smiley child. She started smiling over a month ago and continues to melt my heart with them:) I love being a mom!

Freaky
So.... While Joseph was working the other night I discovered this dark red blood looking thing in the ceiling of our closet. I was totally freaked out because I had no clue what it was. When Joseph came home I had him investigate. And the "freaky" blood thing was a plant...

Yep.... I have a plant growing in my closet. This picture was taken a few days after we discovered it so it is a lot bigger and greener...

Wow... Gotta love old houses!

Yes, the holidays happend.
Life was so crazy with traveling, cooking, and being a mother of two that today I just woke up and realized.....Christmas and Thanksgiving have already happened and it is almost FEBRUARY!!! WHAT??? So here's what happened-
I made real homemade pumpkin pie with pumpkins from our garden. My friend Brenda encouraged me to try it because "they taste SO much better." She was right!
Thanksgiving was spent at Amy and Dans and of course they had quite a delicious spread.

We helped with a 5K fundraiser for a family in our old ward. I was the water girl :) while Joseph ran with Bree. It was super fun and super cold! People kept running by asking me if the water was hot chocolate-I wish I would have thought of that! How awesome, hot chocolate on your fun run!
My friend Melanie Fifthandhazel.com convinced me to take "pregnant" pictures despite feeling fat and fat: She did a great job and so glad I have them.

We did lots of things to celebrate the season. Decorated cookies, festival of trees, temple square and of course Santa

We went to Colorado for Christmas: my own mother convinced me that making the 8 hour trip in the car with my 2-year-old and my 2 week old would be no big deal because she would be there to help. Well 13 hours, puke twice, poop and pee all over and many tears later we arrived at my house hungry and elated not to be in the car anymore. I was not aware of the pain involved with sitting for 13 hours with a natural delivery... With my c-section I had no problems sitting, just laughing and coughing. So the next few days were a constant reminder of the nightmare road-trip. Joseph joined us on Christmas Eve and we were so happy to be a family for Christmas!

It's official!
We are going to Babson!!! Joseph received a full ride scholarship and we will be leaving our home in Provo to venture to Boston in July!! I'm so proud of him and excited for MBA applications to be over!!
Babson was my first choice for an MBA because it is a perfect fit for us with so many opportunities. It is the #1 MBA program for entrepreneurship, which is what Joseph will be doing after graduation.
We are so blessed! East coast here we come!

And then there were four... (New Baby!!!)
Joslyn Joy Draschil is finally here!! Went into the hospital around 9pm she was born around 3am. She was 7.11lbs and 21" long. December 11, 2010 (12-11-10) she made her debut!
It was a wonderful experience and I feel so blessed to have another baby girl. Joseph was so wonderful and was my rock. I decided I can do anything with his support.
Two kids has been a challenge mostly because Bree has decided to be a pain. Licking the baby, giving her medicine, holding her when I'm not there, dumping things on her...... But I keep reminding myself that her world has been turned upside down and she'll get back to "normal" here soon.
Joslyn is such a good baby and I am so grateful. I was able to have a VBAC (regular birth after my c-section with Bree) so the physical part of my recovery has been significantly better. Though sitting down for long amounts of time is painful-but at least I can laugh and cough without hunching over:)

I don't know why Joseph always takes a "before we go to the hospital" picture.... I'm in LABOR for heavens sake!!

Halloween pregnant style:)
We love Halloween!! This year was no different!! Parties, trick-or-treating, Provo River "Halloween cruise", dressing up, and drinking orange hot cocoa:) By the end my little "Boo" was DONE with all the festivities....

The morning after mom sprayed her hair black.... Yep she looks homeless.
Joseph got us tickets for a Halloween cruise down the Provo River. We thought it might be fun, but had no idea how popular it was. They send 40-people boats out every 15 minutes and we still had to wait in a long line just to schedule a boat ride. After an hour wait we were off on our 25min spooky ride-complete with pumpkins, headless horsemen, and tootsie rolls!
