Tommy got married!!!

Tommy and Seneca got married so all the family came in town and we had a BLAST. Just a note.....Hiking the "Y" with 17 children and 4 adults REALLY increasing the amount of time it takes to make it to the top-just sayn'David (Josephs step-father) pushed Joslyn in the stroller and almost died but we made it.

Joseph Turned 30!!

I surprised him with a weekend getaway with two of his best friends and their families to BEAR LAKE. We swam and played mini golf and biked and broke the disposal in the condo and saw like 1,000,000 fish eating (turns out they were mating.......Matson clarified) Happy Birthday to my sweet sweet love.

***Memorial Day weekend we decided to go hiking around Utah. We took a small road trip that was kind of a disaster but we had a good time anyway. Plus we stopped on the side of the road for homemade yummy beef jerky!! yum yum

****Afton and I packed up all the kids and surprised Steph for Alex's birthday!! Late nights, makeup party, and of course eating were our agenda

Joseph's ward was dissolved because of new boundary changes so we had one last hurrah up at a huge house called Spring Haven. We built rockets, rock climbed, decorated cakes, ate food and stayed up late. We love you 12th ward!! We will miss you!

I'm too old for this

When I was in college I LOVED to go to concerts! And I'd always be on the floor pushing my way to the front until I was smashed against the railing slapping hands with the band. After the Shows I'd seek around trying to get a glimpse of the band and hopefully an autograph and a picture:) I may, or may not, have even invited a few over for dinner.........I'm SUCH A DORK! anyway, I was super excited for U2!! and The Fray

Happy Mothers Day to me:)

There was a women at church who said she hates Mothers Day because she hears all these stories about other women and it makes her feel bad about her self.... Well I don't feel that way AT ALL! I LOVE Mothers Day! A day that is all about how awesome I am and how awesome the other women in my life are- yes please! Can we have Mothers Day every month!! With that said, I hope all women feel awesome on Mothers Day! Whether they have born children or not. (I celebrated many a Mothers Days before I had Bree) Women are amazing, and have divine roles that ONLY we can accomplish!!!

Swimsuit Model :)

Matt Clayton called and needed a two-year-old swimsuit model for Lime Ricki. (I'm still trying to figure out why he didn't need a 4 month postpartum, white, and delightsome MOM to model......) Of course I dropped everything and ran over to the shoot........I showed up just as we were-PB&J stained faces and hair undone. But of course Matt worked his magic and Bree made her debut as the FIRST "model" in the history of Draschil genes







Matt is amazing! And even though modeling won't be on our career list, we had a great time. Also, check out Lime Ricki for SUPER cute MODEST swimsuits! No they did not pay me to say that. I just think the pictures Matt did for them are awesome and everyone needs to feel H-O-T and covered in the summer!
